Senior Manager, M&A Integration

Description:

  • Partner with Corporate Development from LOI onward to translate deal thesis into integration goals, success criteria, and operating models.
  • Build and maintain the integration playbook, including plans, checklists, communications templates, and KPI frameworks.
  • Support Integration Management Office governance, including workstreams, master integration plans, and DRI assignments.
  • Lead day-to-day integration execution for assigned deals and keep cross-functional owners accountable to plan.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, decisions, and trade-offs across integration workstreams.
  • Own Day 1 and Day 100 readiness for assigned transactions.
  • Partner with HR on org design, role mapping, retention, and engagement plans for acquired talent.
  • Track integration KPIs, variance to the deal thesis and financial model, and recommend course corrections.
  • Maintain deal-level status, risks, and interdependencies, and support portfolio-level reporting across active integrations.
  • Use retrospectives and lessons learned to improve future integration processes and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive professional experience.
  • At least 5 years leading or directly supporting M&A integration, post-merger integration consulting, corporate development integration, or complex cross-functional transformation programs.
  • Experience within a technology or software organization is strongly preferred.
  • Experience owning integration workstreams or full integrations from planning through post-close execution.
  • Experience partnering with Corporate Development from LOI through close.
  • Experience across deal types, including product and talent tuck-ins.
  • Strong program management discipline, including structured planning, risk and dependency management, and concise status communication.
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally and present to senior stakeholders with autonomy within a defined framework.
  • Experience across Legal, HR, IT, Finance & Accounting, Go-to-Market, Marketing, and Product & Technology.
  • Change management experience and comfort with the people and cultural side of integration.
  • High-ownership, low-ego approach and sound judgment in confidential transactions.
