As a key member of our Export Control and Sanctions team, you will play a central role in developing and enhancing global standards and guidelines for sanctions compliance, working closely with international colleagues across the organization.<br><br><strong>Job Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>In your position, you will manage global risk management, derive globally applicable governance requirements, and develop common minimum standards around embargoes/sanctions, SPL screening, geoblocking, red flag circumstances, and related compliance measures (e.g. anti-circumvention, anti-boycott regulations).</li><li>You will also be responsible for monitoring legal developments (including notices from OFAC and other pertinent regulatory agencies) and changes to sanctions restrictions and assessing their impact on the business activities of the Bosch Group and its subsidiaries globally. Based on this, you will support the definition of appropriate measures and set related process requirements.</li><li>You will support the conceptual design and further development of the re-export control law process landscape for the Bosch Group with focus on U.S. laws and regulations. This includes the further development of existing reporting systems and the use of results for the implementation of further requirements.</li><li>You will be responsible for conducting export audits/health checks for sanctions compliance and for monitoring data analysis with regards to risk indicators in the area of sanctions.</li><li>In addition, you will act as a contact person for business units and central departments, and authorities.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>8+ years of Global Sanctions Compliance and a Bachelor's Degree, as well as experience with sanctions in the U.S. (OFAC and related).</li><li>1+ years of proven ability to influence and motivate people</li><li>In-depth knowledge of sanctions restrictions in the U.S.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with all levels of the organization</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills</li><li>internal audit skills</li><li>Continuous learner; willing to stay abreast and enjoys research</li><li>Ability to effectively coordinate activities and collaborate with groups<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions in adherence to compliance, regulations and policies</li><li>Demonstrated ability to identify and understand issues and resolve inquiries and develop appropriate solutions quickly, effectively and independently</li><li>Knowledge of sanctions and export control laws in the EU & UN</li><li>Strong organizational and prioritization skills</li><li>Experience in the automotive industry and understanding of export compliance related to software and technology<br><br></li></ul><strong>Travel Requirements: </strong>10%-20% (Domestic and International)<br><br><strong>Additional Information<br><br></strong><strong><em>Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans<br><br></em></strong><ul><li>Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screen and background check. Candidates who have been offered the position must pass both screenings before their start date.<br><br></li></ul>The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $160,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. This range does not include annual bonus percentage nor any other monetary considerations for the total compensation package.
