Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy in orders.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including helping with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring that all tables are properly set and ready for service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to facilitate smooth operations and address any guest needs or concerns.
- Help with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring that all items are prepared according to restaurant standards.
- Provide excellent guest services by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
- Utilize the POS system for order tracking and ensure all items are accounted for before delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
